The North shore of Lake Superior is a beautiful drive three seasons of the year, but it can be something else in the winter months. It gets it’s fair share of white outs that’s for sure. This is the white out that is meant for after the drive.
A golden hazy pour with a thick white out on top. More hazy than bubbly. A nice citrus aroma with just a touch of pine, but definitely very fresh fruity. A first big swig results in a full mouth feel. LOL. Seriously though it does have a substantial mouthfeel to it, nice texture. The oats seem to add a texture and mellowness? A citrus mix with a bit of bitter at the finish. Next to no zing but that’s ok, they weren’t going for zing. A very mellow IPA with a mini zing, a touch of zing, maybe a ting? *
A nice full of fruit textured IPA with a ting at the end. A bit of a subdued IPA, an enjoyable and mellowing quaff.
