Boshkung say their beers are focused on cottage living. This one will be quaffed by the cottage fireplace as opposed to the dock. This small batch lager offering poured golden, closing in on amber but not quite there, and clear with a thin light white head. Malt yeasty aroma, very much shaping up to be a classic lager. Tasty first swig, a lager with a bit of an extra malty yet smooth finish. Smooth and flavourful.
This is a perfect example of how craft beers differentiate themselves from the big brew brands in a good way. A classic lager with a bit of extra flavour and uniqueness. Despite the cottage living branding I think this brew was more fitting fireside than dockside. I guess I will have to try one on the dock when things warm up a bit, just to be sure. Very enjoyable.
