Beer with purpose. It’s not “pay it forward”, its’ “Drink It Forward”. Socially driven capitalism. They say ,and I believe them, that $.50 from every beer purchased goes to worthwhile charities.* Which led Farmer Steve to wonder “is this still a profit making deal.” I’m not here to defend a dissertation on experiments in social capitalism. I am only here for the beer.
The distinct can design caught my eye, as well as the interesting name. A nice bright light golden pour with a very thin head and a bit of a bubbly personality. Lucky there is no carbonation tax. A bit of a malty aroma but mild. A nice light malt flavour, smooth and easy drinking. A clean finish, no zing or hops in the house. It is a bit bubbly (not Bublé) to boot but that settled down in the glass. Easy enough drinking to quaff a few down in succession during the game.
COZ only brews one beer and this is it**. They tell us they have focused on crushable and subtle, and once again I believe them.
