They say it is a pilsner, it sure tastes like a lager to me. Maybe it is the malted barley and malted hops? What do I know, I am no brewer, I just like to drink the stuff. Another of Gateway’s main offerings. The numbers represent different modes of transportation, this one being flight. Why not a 747 *you say, instead of a 626? Well according to Gateway brewers 626 is the number on the CF-100 Canuck plane on display in Lee Park in North Bay, the Gateway city.

Wait a minute, now it tastes like a pilsner, no, now it has morphed back into a lager. How can it taste like both? Some mysteries are never meant to be solved, like how Lyle Lovett ever ended up with Julia Roberts, or how Arsenio Hall ever got his own show?**

Nice flavour like a lager and refreshing like a good pilsner. Whatever it is it looks great in the glass and is great tasting too.

*Editor’s Note: Although North Bay is not a large town, their airport has a very long runway capable of landing a 747 (6800 feet required) and one taking off too (10,000 feet required).

**Editor’s Note: Love songs and Eddie Murphy. Mystery solved.
