What first struck me about this Czech inspired old style pilsner was how bright it is in the glass. The picture just doesn’t do it justice. How bright you ask? As bright as Einstein, Ken Jennings* and Stephen Hawking all put together! As bright as our editor thinks he is! That’s pretty bright.
So it can light a room on its own, but how does it taste? Well, it tastes great. Just a touch of bitter which melted away on the first quaff. Very drinkable and refreshing, dare I say crushable? Yes, I dare.
I heard recently that beer is a better beverage than water for post exercise thirst quenching.** Perhaps I have paraphrased that scientific finding a bit but if I did a physical exercise (other than fishing) I would be looking for a Ten Mile Point as my after workout quaff. A very easy drinking and refreshing brew.
This is a great summer drink. If it is a scorcher of a day reach for a Ten Mile Point. This beer is all about refreshing.
Great job Manitoulin.
