Let me start out by saying I am a Mill St. fan. 100th Meridian is one of my personal favourites. Let me also say that I couldn’t give a rat’s ass whether something is organic or not. I am all for supporting the bees, but not at the expense of the taste of my beer. So I have said a lot already and really said nothing about this beer.
So, a Pil from the Mill. Although I am a Mill St. fan, I found this a bitter Pil to swallow. Refreshing, yes. But a bit of bitter that just wouldn’t go away. A bit less bitter would make the beer better.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this beer. Refreshing and bracing. Either the beer needs to mellow out a bit or I do, and I don’t think either is going to happen in the foreseeable future. Good pilsner, just back off the bitter a bit.
