A light tasting, refreshing brew. Needs lime to give that Mexican tilt. This is relatively new beer from 555 Brewing in Picton. A lot of breweries are jumping on the Mexican/Corona bandwagon … no comparison to the number of people who jump on the Maple Leaf bandwagon after they win a game in the playoffs, but enough to call it a trend.
This is a decent rendition of the Cerveza wave. The flavour is reminiscent of a wheat beer with no discernable hops and just a hint of bitterness at the finish. A great summer beer and very trendy.
