Warming up for some Octoberfesting and got a text the other day that I couldn’t decipher but it just came to me, I know what it means now, Prost!* This brew doesn’t smell complex at all. Tastes almost watery with just a hint of malt. Good carbonation resulting in a foamy frothy mouthfeel. A nice bitter finish, slightly bitter biting on the sides of my tongue as I swallow. A tasty lager, not over the top, a good late summer pint. R.A.

*Editor’s Comment: The COMDB Translation Department have resolved their grievance and are back on the case (literally). They tell us that “Prost” is German for “Cheers” and should not to be confused with the word “Prosit” which is the conjunctive of the Latin word prodesse and means “may it be beneficial” or roughly “be well”. The word “Prosit” is actually the origin of the German word “Prost”. I think the Translation Department is just showing off now.
