The Bashful Basher
In case you were wondering, apparently Beerios is what you get when you substitute beer for milk in your Cheerios for breakfast. Now I’m not much of a day drinker, but if the occasional noon or afternoon quaff is in the cards, I’ll deal with it. But beer in my Cheerios sounds as nasty as roadkill ragout to me. Bash away Kame & Kettle.
The K&K gang tell us that this brew is perfect for after mowing the lawn and while sparking up to ol’ BBQ. How about after freezing my ass off hanging Christmas lights once, then rehanging them to the exact specification I did not meet on the first hanging? This was no patio pint, but a Monday Night Football, in front of the fire, big cat showdown between the Bengals and the Jaguars. It wasn’t exactly a bashing when the Bengals came away with a field goal OT victory.*
What about this Beerios Basher? A clear clean pristine pour, void of foam or froth. A mild fresh lager malt aroma. It quaffs malt sweet with a crisp refreshing finish, it’s got flavour. As progress was made, the crisp finish gets a bit more biting. Eventually the crisp and bitter combine to overtake the malt. Things were getting a little imbalanced, the beer too.
Ok brew but maybe I did need to mow the lawn first.
