Cheering for Bogie all the way
Nothing two dimensional about a love triangle. How many can you think of? How about these. Rick, Ilsa and Victor will always remember Paris. Rhett, Scarlett and Ashley don’t give a damn. Nick,Jay and Daisy and all that jazz. Jack, Caledon, and Rose struck a pose. Russel, Penny and William were almost famous. Donald, Katy and Professor Dave are in the house. Archie, Betty, and Veronica had Reggie running interference. And Simcoe, Citra and Vic Secret all hop to it for this Indie Ale House experiment in good taste. I couldn’t get 18 of them off the top of my head, but who’s counting.
Myself, at my age I have more experience with love handles than love triangles. TMI. Not to be obtuse, but the right question we are angling at is whether I love Love Triangle 18. The answer is much less complicated than a love triangle, that being yes.
A golden OJ pour with a light white head. A juicy tangy aroma, the aroma of a refresher. The first taste was very juicy with a pillowy mouthfeel and a touch of the fizz, with a mild grapefruit bitter finish. Definitely not a two-dimensional triangle, this complex equation adds up to one very tasty brew. A full mouthfeel, could be the oats, or it could be I took a large swig. Tropical mango pineapple juicy with very mild grapefruit bitterness with slight carbonation, big mellow juiciness. Not a balanced triangle but a very tasty one.
It may have been your Kindergarten instrument of choice, and Pythagoras’ claim to fame, but when it comes to triangles there are 3 sides to every story. This congruence of hops was a sure sine of a super suds rating. And next thing I know, it was poly-gone.
