What the hell is a thunderhead?* Maybe the latest James Bond movie? Perhaps the latrine at a special camp for the lactose intolerant? Or a common condition experienced the morning after the Cranky Old Men AGM?
Whatever a thunderhead is, it sounds like Canvas is brewin’ up a storm. Is this IPA a nor’ easter of a West Coaster? Will we be thunderstruck by this El Nino of pine, citrus and flora? Is this a catastrophic storm of epic proportions, or will I be enjoying it so much that I’m looking for a storm chaser? Lightning in a bottle or just a down pour? Too late to make a long story short, and all this digressing is stoking up a powerful thirst.
A dark orange slightly hazy body with some cumulus like thunder head accumulating top side. The fresh and middlin’ juicy aroma smells like a personal invitation to a west coast tasting. The taste is major juice, recently promoted from captain. It’s tropical and stone fruits with mild backend pine bitters. Tasty. A big swig results in a little smile, since a big smile is not my style, but suffice to say, my crankiness is temporarily held at bay. Yoda would say “the juiciness is strong in this one”.
A juicier than typical west coaster with a mild hoppy finish waiting out the storm.
