Word Power to the People!
A dry thirst unction, a pilsner from the Junction. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever used the word unction in a sentence, let alone rhymed it.* A Reader’s Digest “Increase Your Word Power” moment.
Another Oilers loss last night, they look like the better team on the ice, but not on the scoreboard. My craft pilsner wing can was planned to be a celebration draught but ended up as a consolation craft.
An IBU of two! How low can you go? Let’s hope that hopless doesn’t mean hopeless or hapless.
The big screen emanated through a muted orange golden haze of a pour. A brief camera-shy froth of foam made for a hasty exit as soon as I clicked the pic. A nice bread malt aroma. The taste is true to it’s scent, a bread malt body, but with a super dry finish, parched dry, with a bit of mild bitters on the aftertaste. It left me so dry I had to have another swig right away. That swig left me so dry I had to have another swig right away. That swig….. well you get the picture.
No Pilsner floral faux pas here, no acidic aesthetic, just a nice malt body with a super dry finish. Just like the hockey game last night a finish that it left me wanting more, only in a good way.
Just like their Krispy Light, another great Junction offering.
