A light lime lager, an alliteration addict’s aphrodisiac. It was a fine time for a 2.0 lime, here’s hoping this light turns out just right. So eager to try this Sleeman special that I find myself conversing in verse for better or worse, and I know there’s rhyme but there’s no reason for it or to it.
Sleeman Clear 2.0 is the only beer the Department of Morality and Moderation will quaff, * and only out of the bottle to boot. It is a certified super suds light and a COMDB recommended perfect pizza pairing pint. Would the lowly lime, green with envy of its more popular citrus kin, add to the excitement or merely complicate matters? A tasting will be telling.
A clear golden pour, with a fizz fed foam topper. An effervescent Iight lime aroma. Fresh light lager, subtle but definitely and consistently limey. This just right lemon lime light is a big time big swigger. Balanced and refreshing.
My far better half may consider lime in her beer of choice a sacrilege but it worked for me.
