It took me longer to type the name of this beer than it did to write the rest of the review! A Czech Dark Lager, sounds delicious. There is a long drawn out story of how in the 1400’s seven politicians were thrown from an upper floor window, and so on and so forth. Occupational hazard I guess. I thought I belonged to a beer of the month club, not a book of the month club.
I enjoy an amber and dark lager so I looked forward to this one. It was OK but it didn’t knock my socks off. Not that you want to see that display, why do you think cranky old men wear socks with sandals. To protect the public from catching a glimpse of a pair of gruesome gunboats, that’s why. But I digress.
OK beer but not up there with the best dark or amber I have quaffed lately*.
