My old buddy JT knows his way around a sail boat like nobody’s business. Me, I can handle my fishing boat like a pro, but I couldn’t tell you how to hoist a yardarm or flap a jib even if there was a free beer in it for me. Luckily no nautical knowledge is required to sample this light lager from Cowbell.
Nice light gold pour with a whitecap rolling in. Very light aroma, a touch of malt. A nice light malt flavour, refreshing, crushable. No bitter, no bite or aftertaste. Very easy drinking, but still with some flavour. A great lite (light) beer. It is really a summer beer and would be great while on the dock watching a sail boat go by, but it was very enjoyable in front of the fire as well. In fact, I watched my Leafs go down without a fight last night, and this beer was the highlight of the evening.
