Out for dinner with the missus in the most powerful nation in the world. She orders up some strawberry melon mango mohito concoction, while I check out the draft menu. How about an American Amber Ale from the Voodoo Ranger gang at New Belgium*. A Fat Tire on tap and a rack of ribs to round out the repast**.
Nice light Amber, thin white head on this brew, looks like the bartender has drawn a few draught in his day. Nice Amber style aroma, mild. Great tasting Amber. Perfect temperature (well done Miller Ale House), medium malt flavour makes for easy drinking, no hops or bitters in the mix. A slightly sweet malt finish to make life interesting. No crazy cartoon zombie mascot*** marketing required here, just a great beer making a name for itself. I guess a Fat Tire makes for a smooth ride.
