When I popped the top on this Fenelon Italian Pil it was a tad too eager to occupy my glass and I had some foam issues to deal with, but no injuries and a quick sip prevented any major mess. A golden hazy pour, surprisingly hazy for a pil, but also surprisingly not heady considering the pre pour pop. A fresh crisp mild malt aroma. Initially a muddled malt body with an extra crisp but not hoppy or bitter finish. I think first swig was still dealing with the remains of the foam and fizz. It did settle into a nice main malt pilsner with a smooth slightly crisp finish.
A solid pilsner for after visiting the waterfalls or the farmer’s market, or while shopping with the missus, or watching the boats go through the locks, or visiting the local brewery.
