Winner winner, chicken dinner. This Oktoberfest from Collingwood special is my favourite beer of the week! On the can it says strong beer at 5.8% but it isn’t benching 250 if you know what I mean, it goes down smooth. Back in the day a stubby Brador at 6.2% was the strongest thing out there but was consumed for affect, not enjoyment. This Oktoberfestbier has great taste, like your humble reviewer, and is true to its descriptor on the can, “ German style Märzen is malt forward, sweet and delicious.” A bit of sweet and a lot of delicious. This is a great beer.
