The Cure for Dry February

Chockie Wockie

Cameron's Brewing

5.8% Alcohol

It’s February already? Nobody told me.* I missed going dry the first few days of the month, so I guess a dry February this year is out of the question. Maybe next year. JT is taking on dry February but when he heard this year was a leap year he scheduled an overseas trip the last two weeks of the month to a country that doesn’t recognize any months as dry.

Cameron’s Chockie Wockie sounds like a milkshake quake and bake loco cocoa chocolatey sweet no doubt about it stout.  It pours thick and substantial, a motor oil thick pour with a creamy tan foamy milk shake head. Looks great. Chocolate nose, smells great. And most importantly, it tastes great too. A roast malt cocoa dream of a brew, very mild coffee bitters, just a touch of foam creating carbonation.  Smooth but with a foamy milkshake mouthfeel.  Very tasty.  This is EXACTLY what a chocolate milkshake stout should be.  They achieved the elusive chocolate stout balancing act with this one.

For those of you suffering from dry February, this is the cure!

*Editor's Comment: I told you. I specifically asked you on the first day of February if you were going to do a dry February this year and your exact response was "Are You crazy?"

Reviewer's Comment: I seem to recall that conversation but I thought that was last year. To be honest I don't pay much attention to our discussions.
