By the graphics on the can this seems to be a golf themed brew but I wasn’t familiar with the concept of “two putt” so I had to look it up. It seems that some golfers, I assume professionals, once they get their golf ball on the green, only take two putts to get it in the cup. Can you imagine! What a great idea. That would take at least 36 strokes off my score. I may even get a bogie or two! One can dream.
Osh Kosh by gosh, it’s a Boshkung brew and a pilsner too. This brew was eager to make an appearance and popping the top resulted in a minor overflow situation. No cleanup crew required, quickly remedy. No one will be the wiser unless someone smells beer on their placemat at dinner tomorrow.
Getting over the overflow, and now pouring like a pro. It’s a golden slightly hazy brew, the usual pilsner brights turned down a notch or two. No surprise that there is a healthy head but no over the top foam fest for this putting pils. Teeing off with a nice fresh malt aroma, some fruit in the bag as well. A well hit first swig results in a fresh mid range malt body drive with a crispy crisp roll out of a finish. Great first quaff and were off to the races as they say, and fittingly so, because this easy drinking pils is going down quicker than my ball around a water hazard. A traditional pils with just a touch of extra spicy hop crisp on the end that works well.
