I love the USA. The missus was born there, my son works there. I figure I have visited 27 states including Alaska and we love to holiday there (the USA, not Alaska). But, and you might have figured there was a “but” in the works, US TV hockey coverage sucks. I swear the play-by-play announcers are on a cliché commission. In last night’s game I heard the team in the lead had to “keep their foot on the gas” so many times I figured they were going to be a major contributor to climate change. “If they can get an early lead and keep it they should be OK”. I suspect if they get an early lead and keep it, by the end of the game they will have won.
Junction tells us that this hazy lazy brew is made from three different hops including Zappa™ hops, named after Frank Zappa** himself, which seems ironic to me because Zappa was a famous abstainer.
This brew pours hazy and a dark shade of orange implying fruit in abundance, a juicer perhaps? A hoppy aroma with some fruit to boot. It starts out with fruit and a nice bitter tart hoppy finish all very well put together. As time goes on, as it is prone to do***, the fruit flavour evolves and the bitter subsides leaving a fruity body with a mild hoppy finish. It’s a mucho mango tango with a twist. The twist is a touch of strawberry in the mix. The fruit has arrived and it’s alive. It’s an easy drinking, big swigging, fun fresh fruit fete. A juicy hazy taste treat.
