When I saw the name of this brew I sent up the ol’ bat signal for the COMDB translation department. They took on this assignment with their usual indifference. Apparently 主命 means “master’s orders” in Japanese, which just so happens to be the name of the Department of Morality’s to do list.
I see the AARP are sponsoring the latest Stones tour. Rock and roll may never die but it sure is getting old. The AARP formerly stood for the American Association for Retired Persons. Now apparently it doesn’t stand for anything, but the non-profit organization is “dedicated to empowering Americans 50 and older to choose how they live as they age.” That means being able to listen to the Stones serenading seniors with “Let’s Spend the Night Together” which begs the question just what are you going to do all night with an 80 year old Mick Jagger and a 79 year old Keith Richards? I confess, I digress.

Website pour, I’m not that good.
Where was I? Oh yea, Blood Brothers orders from the master? An east west coast hybrid IPA. A very juicy very hazy looking pour. No surprise that there is a very juicy aroma as well, stone fruit fruity. First quaff is a tropical citrus juicer with some zing and a bit of a bitter boozy finish and aftertaste. It has the funky body and boozy finish of a strong double. A full swig gives you that nice hazy juicer with some bitters and still some alcohol on the finish. As I progress the booze fades and I do too! Coincidence? Perhaps not
If I didn’t know better I would say I was sampling a double IPA, then again if I knew better I wouldn’t be writing all these beer reviews, although the occasional free beer every now and then is sweet.
