Since people have been working from home for the past two years I hear that some companies are having trouble attracting people back to the office. Surprise! Everyone loves that one hour commute, getting up at 6:30AM and having a clueless manager looking over their shoulder correcting their spelling before the spell check even picks it up.
I heard that one way companies are trying to attract people back to work is a fancy new coffee machine to deal with “the daily grind”. That must have been an article in Nescafe Monthly. Can you imagine. The new perk is a new perk.
I have an idea. Instead of fancy coffee, why not identify the one person in the office that everyone hates the most, the one that makes everyone’s life miserable, the one everyone tries to avoid, and fire them! The new perk, no jerk.
Of course if I just described the boss then that explains the current phenomenon known as the great resignation.
