Daenerys and a Just Hatched Drogon the Dragon
When Daenerys walked out of her husband’s funeral pyre, the weeping widow had no burns of any degree and three baby dragons in tow. She named one of the little lizards after her late husband, Drogon.* That’s right, Drogon the dragon. That red and black flying flaming firedrake grew up to be Mom’s favourite and her uber air ride.
Not playing any games here with a flagon of dragon, Red Dragon that is. A nitro dragon no less, maybe all dragons are nitro fueled? C’est What Durham certainly perfected the fine art of the nitro pint with their cure for cammaphobia , their last COMDB outing. Let’s see if this Red is firing on all cylinders.
Another beautiful nitro pour from CWD. A deep dark red, with a foamy off white head. A full roast grainy aroma. The taste is a full red rich roast grainy first quaff combined a bit of nutty toughness. The slight ale harshness is offset by the nitro soft mouthfeel. Full flavoured with a creamy disposition allows, even demands, big swigs. It settled into a nice flavourful red, grainy be gone with any harsh ale finish balanced by a nitro creamfest , a great combo of flavour and nitro.
Dragons may be imaginary, but this Irish Red is for real.
