Doctor: It appears you have Cammaphobia. *
Patient: Please don’t use that letter.
Doctor. And it is clearly quite an acute case.
Patient: Please stop.
Doctor: Aren’t you curious about a cure?
Patient: Stop please.
Doctor: Drink one Blak Katt stout every day.
Patient: Thank you.
Doctor: It’s a C’est What Durham craft beer.
Patient: No more.
Doctor: You’re welcome, Carl.

That letter, please don’t say it again,
If you have not already discerned from the discourse above, Cammaphobia is the fear of the letter “C”, which seems to be what this beer ails from. Is it only me that sees it as ironic, or even sadistic, that the term for the fear of the letter “C” begins with a “C”. Usually, the diagnoses proceeds the abatement of suffering, rather than being the cause of it.
Another Nitro from the Durham team, the last one was an superb pale ale, so hopes are high for this Nitro dry Irish stout.
A klassic nitro pour, the kream of the kraft rising to the top of this Blak Katt. Full roasted malt aroma with a hint of espresso. The taste is a kreamy koffee with a dry bitters finish, this katt has a bit more ABV than a traditional Guinness, and a bit more bite too. Maybe some kokoa but definitely some koffee. As the bitters mellow a bit, the kreamy stays and some kokoa emerges. And it settles into a nice krazy kreamy koffee and kokoa full bodied stout with a bit of a kik to it. Kudos to k’est what, for another super suds nitro kraft.
