Brilliant golden colour. Nickel Brook has newly branded their Cause & Effect, it is now steady. Solid, sturdy, sound, secure suds. Let’s just call it steady.
Here is an example of cause and effect in an everyday sentence. I drink a good beer that I like (cause) and I write a good review for it (effect). So in this case the cause is actually Cause & Effect since the beer can’t be both. The effect the beer has on you is in fact the effect. And from experience, the more beers you drink in one sitting the greater the effect. I only had to quaff one to get the effect required to review it.
Light floral flavour at first, which thankfully gave way to a nice flavourful crafty blonde ale. I am not sure what the adjective steady is doing there, but it is a nice easily indulged blonde with a smooth finish.
They say that through numerous experiments they came up with a light easy drinking beer. Well kudos to whoever was wearing the lab coat when they were titillating* beakers and test tubes, or whatever it is you do in chemistry class. Because they got it right. This is a good blonde ale. Easy drinking, good flavour, steadfast and summer day suited.
