Our craft connoisseur RA is on the case with a Haven German style pale lager. RA does not make a decision to not finish a beer lightly. When he is done before it is done, that is almost never done, so you know that a pour poor quaffing is in the offing.
This head had a mind of its own.
Normally I drink a beer from the can, but the top of this can was so gross I decided to pour it into a glass. Obviously my pouring skills have been neglected. * Despite all of that, this is the foamiest beer I have ever encountered. All I can taste is alcohol and some bitters. A very hazy beer, it mellowed a bit during sampling. But I think it’s time to practice pouring something different and pour the rest of this one down the drain.**
*Editor’s Comment: According to the COMDB Guide to Beer Tasting, and I quote “a poor pourer pours a poor pour.”
