That’s right, it’s the largest beer spa in the world.
My choice was clear, as in Clear Lake, for a clear beer and a big ol’ pretzel. What’s new at the home of the largest beer spa in the world? Monogrammed terrycloth towels perhaps, a slipstream dump bucket perchance, solar powered saunas parcheesi? I don’t know about any of that, but I hadn’t seen their Golden Orange ale before, so it was time to tap that keg.

No outstanding warrants, just outstanding service.
When it comes to a CL visit, the bartenders are front and center. Is it tradition, or lack of inhibitions, or just no outstanding warrants that are the reason they agree to be in the brew pic? Whatever the reason it does look good on them. The tradition continues. *
A Clear clear golden pour, I’m not sure whether the tinge of orange was in my glass or in my mind, but it was there, one way or another. A flute full of froth, slim and foamy. An aroma of ale malt with a touch of citrus, surprise surprise. First quaff was a light malt, subtle citrus and an ale crisp bitters finish. All light and lovely. The very subtle citrus is just right, and it goes well with the mild ale bitters. A nice full flavoured light, definitely a crushable ale. The citrus kiss subscribed to the KISS principle, keep it subtle sudsmaster.
I really enjoyed this just right light; it was and is super.
