JT sampled this brew and super suds it and that’s all the reference I need to wrap and tap this pint-sized package and put a Beau’s on it. I figure no matter how it turns out my beer glass will be Wonder full.
Farmer Steve was asking about the tractor pull competition at the Olympics. He was betting on Japan for Gold and USA for silver. This beer can is just like the Olympics in that respect, the tractor is not a factor. Instead of the Beau’s tractor, this can has a bunch of mechano-crushers on it that look like Rosey the Robot from the Jetsons.*
This brew is about as clear as you can get for a hazy IPA if that makes any sense to anyone other than me.** A nice frothy float of a head. A juicy citrus tropical aroma, not hoppy on the nose. The taste is typical tropical juicy, peach or mango. With a slight fizz and very mild bitter finish and pine bitter aftertaste. A sequence that Fibonacci would be proud of. *** It all spells refreshing. Balanced. The slight bitter crescendo gives off a dry finish. Bitters start out as a bit but become a bit more. It has a juice mouthfeel, almost creamy which seems unique for such a clear hazer.
This is a non-aggressive IPA, at 5% and relatively low IBU it is definitely crushable. The word mellow comes to mind. A nice mid-afternoon thirst slake by the lake. And now I’m Wonder full too.
