Just like those soccer super stars I was in need of a hydration break,* and All or Nothing sounded like a good bet. As I perused the taps, their Vienna Lager caught my eye and my fancy. The matron d’ tapped out a cup of Fearless and I was no longer beer less. But would Fearless be less than the best or peerless; I digress.
A copper coloured craft, minimal head, maximum amber. A light and inviting caramel malt aroma. First taste is a light watery caramel malt body with a slight hoppy bitter finish. Flavourful and at the same time easy drinking. Those back end bitters add some character to this sweet smooth lager. Big swigs boost the bitters a bit but balance is maintained.
I went in All or Nothing and came out with a smile on my face, some new brews for the beer fridge, and some drunk pickles to boot.
