Some pretty fancy art work on the can, almost as good as the full moon over the barn with a tractor on the Beau’s Night Märzen. On the can it says the artist is from Singapore. I guess there are no struggling artists in Canada that could use a little exposure? Not a full rant, I am just waving the flag a bit.

So I counted the various offerings from Collective Arts Brewery. They have 186 different beers to choose from. Yes, that’s right one hundred and eighty six! 186 pints. 87,978 mls of brew, just to taste one of each. 1116 pints of beer if you buy a six pack of each. It bogles the mind. Sounds like a long weekend with the boys. So how did I end up with Matter of Fact? Well, as a matter of fact, it was on the shelf at the grocery store so I grabbed it. I thought it was time for a Matter of Fact check.

It pours solid bright (not as light as some blondes) and hazy. Dry hopped which I noticed right from the start (taste and name). Crisp. Nice forward flavour, a buxom blonde perhaps? They say it is designed to refresh which doesn’t differentiate it from many beers, but I would agree, it is refreshing. They describe this blonde ale as a New England Style IPA. It is a bit different in a nice way. I enjoyed it. Another good offering from CAB. Now I only have 184 more of their beers to try!
