I am not sure why these brewers want us to ditch our swim suits and jump in the water naked in front of our friends, neighbours, and all the readily available cell phones that can quickly upload videos and pics to the 2.89 billion people active on Facebook (36.5% of the population of the world, talk about full frontal exposure) or the 2.29 billion people using Youtube. And if you cannot resist the urge or peer pressure to drop your drawers and take a dive or dip, please heed this excellent advice on skinny dipping. Make sure you are the last one in, and the first one out. For more on this sage advice see my review on Sawdust’s Skinny Dippin’ Stout
All these brewers are philosophers now. This adage, which adorns the can, states “The naked truth is always better than the best dressed lie.” This definitely applies to our cranky old men reviewers, good or bad we tell it like it is, which is why none of us will ever end up in politics.*
A pretty golden pour, and what a great IPA. This is the classic IPA, with some hoppiness but well balanced and very refreshing. I really enjoyed this one. They talk about citrus and floral hops, what I tasted was a crisp refreshing IPA. If I order an IPA this is what I am hoping and hopping for. Fresh, refreshing, a nice not overbearing hoppy, and good flavour. Great IPA NewOnt.
