The sand banks of Picton, the Northern equivalent of a Florida Spring Break? Well not exactly but still a nice place to unwind and drink a beer or two or more, perhaps a Blonde Ale from Prince Eddy.
Fresh aroma, nice light bright pour, bit of a foamy top. A bit hazy, but that is hard to see in the new freeze glass I got for Christmas*. The first swig reminded me of an American pale ale, light easy drinking. Good steady flavour, a bit of an extra almost bitter but not quite aftertaste? I struggled to place it, perhaps it is the malt backbone they are talking about on the can.
It is an Ok blonde, nice if you know what I mean. Love is way too strong a word, like is more like it. This ale may get a stronger review in the summer.
