“Captain’s log, stardate 41153.7. Our destination is planet Deneb IV …”. I remember watching Star Trek as a kid when it first came out. I think I was 8 year’s old and at that time I thought “what a lame show, paper mache rocks, every other planet somehow has oxygen, Vulcan mind melt, give me a break.” TV, movies, books all depend on the suspension of disbelief. Making something that is unbelievable believable. At that age I could somehow believe Batman, but Star Trek was just too far out there (pun intended) for me. And don’t get me started on Gilligan’s Island.
That being said, this Captain’s Log has nothing to do with Star Trek, I just wanted to get that rant in there. This Captain’s Log is about a mariner’s journal and they suggest that quaffing this lager will make for a worthy entry in your log book. So this is my log book entry so to speak.
This golden lager is flavorful and easy drinking. I enjoyed it. Golden in the glass and feeling golden going down. It was a good brew on its own and coupled well with a light snack too. A good all round lager.
According to Cameron’s, Captain’s Log is a multiple award winner as well. Well deserved I would say. Another great offering from Cameron’s.
