In the forensic lab, breaking beakers, filling flasks and prepping the pipettes. Doing some cranky old calibrating and calculating of this cryptic craft quaff. Yes it’s another Nickel Brook Mystery Pack pint and after A and B it’s no mystery that this brew is Mystery Beer C. Even the Jackson 5 could have figured that one out. *
C was my wing can for a busy evening in front of the big screen. I was getting carpal tunnel vision giving the old channel changer a workout with the Leafs, the Raptors and the Dallas Cowboys all in action. ** JT had a viable solution.

JT’s solution.
A super hazy OJ pour with a two-finger minimum froth to top off this quaff. An aroma of intense tropical juiciness and a backdrop of hoppiness. The first taste is nice fruit forward tropical juicer, a full mouthfeel, with a bit of a surprising slightly boozy nip on the finish. I did a double take but it’s no double, maybe a single doubling as a double? Or almost a double because by the third swig the boozy back bite was mystery history. What remained was big time juice with mild hoppiness. Not really balanced and not trying to be, but the juice and hops work well together and create a nice sequence.
The COMDB name for this beer with no name is : It’s Just a Haze I’m Going Through.
