RA: Now that I have figured out how to use the camera on my phone I guess I am supposed to do a review.

I like it.

Editor: Camera shy beer? How much do you like it?

RA: 17

Editor: I will do my best to edit this verbose review and see if I can trim it down to a manageable size and get to the heart of the matter.

RA: I will add to my review after I sleep on it and contemplate it’s taste.

RA figured out his camera phone. Picture that.

RA’s Review of The Local Brewery’s  Lowery Mills* Ale after having slept on it and contemplated it’s taste.

It smells watery. First sip is almost creamy tasting but I think that’s the tiny micro-bubbles that make it taste that way or feel that way. It definitely has some roasted bitterness to it that lingers. When you breathe out of your nose after you’ve had a sip it’s multi-dark roasted flavour still lingers. Close to the end of this pint it has a nice mouthfeel, sort of creamy with the bubbles dissipating a bit, a surprisingly enjoyable mouthfeel. A little tinny but tasty. Did I mention it was bitter? Revised score at 16.

*Editor’s Comment: Lowery Mills is a country-rock band local to the Kingston area with singer Jordan Lowery and guitarist Jay Mills.
