It was cloudy when I cracked open this brew, then the sky cleared. Coincidence? Of course it was.
I thought of calling this review Cloudy with a Chance of Hops but there are at least three beers with that name so I didn’t want to confuse the issue.
So I finished my chores, fishing, drinking coffee, eating lunch, I guess I can have a beer now. An exhausting day so far but I am not too tired to quaff a cold one. I find myself on the corner of Thirst and Mill Street.
An unsurprising hazy* pour, validating this brew’s moniker. A very thin head which usually comes from a high ABV beer. A very juicy fruity aroma. First swig was fruit with the hops and bitter in the background. Juicy! The bitter does present itself on the finish. As I got into this brew the fruit faded, there were bitters and booze, and the haze was hanging around. The warmer it gets the boozier it gets, or maybe it is just me? Although it is a high ABV brew it does keep the booziness in check which is good.
When all is said and done, my beer is done. Nice IPA, enjoyable.
