So my old buddy JT (all my friends are old these days) gives me a beer I haven’t tried before. Name of the beer is “Farmer in the Sky”*. What the hell kind of name is that for a beer? A  pilsner dry hopped with Citra. Beer is beer so I have no problem quaffing one down. But I want to do my re-search first! On the side of the beer can it starts telling some bat shit crazy story about some turbine and a blinding light and celestial hues and such goings on. Then at the end of the sentence it does this……… and tells me if I want to hear more I have to go to the www net. So I never found out what The Farmer in the Sky means because I couldn’t figure out how to get to their www net site.

So what does it taste like you are wondering. It tastes like beer.  Is it good? Of course it’s good, its beer. How good is it? Crisp and clean and no kerosene. A bit of bitter on the finish which went well with the crisp. I would have drank another but JT only left me one!

*Editor's Comment: Farmer In The Sky is a 1950 science fiction novel by American writer Robert A. Heinlein about a teenaged boy who emigrates with his family to Jupiter's moon Ganymede which is in the process of being terraformed. Although Heinlein's story is science fiction, Ganymede really is a moon of Jupiter. It is the largest and most massive of the Solar System's moons.
