Was Mill Street cobblestone at one point? What does organic mean? Nitrogen charged, sounds dangerous, is it? None of these questions will be answered in this review but I was always told that asking questions is the only way you will ever learn anything.
All Canadian ingredients. The nitrogen charged can provides a bit of a pop when you open it, not a champagne pop but certainly noticeable. What happens next is a nice creamy deep dark pour with a beautiful tan head. Mill Street is certainly paying tribute to Guinness but can its Cobblestone Stout achieve such a lofty goal? Almost.
Great flavour, a bit harsh on first swig but smoothed out quickly for a creamy mouthfeel. Smooth finish, great taste, a bit of bitter throughout, lots of flavour and yet easy to drink. Mill Street has done a great job in making a Canadian Stout that Guinness lovers can appreciate.
