Perhaps a red to match the festive season? However this poured very dark, more like a dark amber than a red. But when I held it up to the light it came through as a deep red. Is this a hop-tical illusion* of some type? A frothy head, very bubbly but the beer was not highly carbonated. The head settled quickly enough.
Nice flavourful red. At the same time it was easy drinking, minimal bitterness, just the good solid flavour that you would expect from a craft red. An enjoyable, festive, dark red ale.
