Supporting starving artists with snazzy art work on the cans. Maybe not as impressive as a Beau’s tractor or a velvet Elvis but still eye catching. But wait a minute, this artist is from Atlanta Georgia? They don’t even have heating bills in Atlanta, do they? Perhaps there are no artists in Canada that could use a bit of recognition? Get with it CA, let’s get some Canadian art on your cans.
How about this nice shiny black porter, with a nice tan head. Great pour, almost stout like in its consistency. Not quite creamy but close. Unfiltered, like my reviews. Strong first taste, makes you wake up and smell the malt. A good strong flavour throughout. Nice winter beer for a fireside quaff. Savour the flavour, not crushable, but certainly enjoyable.
The flavour might be a bit strong for some but I certainly enjoyed it.
