Wow. What a great Pilsner. The can explains the name, Switchback, a path to the summit for the determined and the adventurous for those who enjoy the journey as much as the destination. My destination was sitting down and drinking this beer, I can’t recall what the journey was, but whatever it was the destination was much better.
I am not sure what the name has to do with this great tasting Pil. Hey, how about switching for this for a name, GTP. Could stand for Great Tasting Pil, or Good Time Pilsner, or Go To Pint, or Goats Tap dancing Prodigiously. Ok, maybe not the goat one, but it is probably as relevant as the name Switchback.
Refreshing, a bit of bitter at the start which just blended and disappeared into a fresh, clean great tasting Pilsner. Easy drinking perfect summer time brew for a hot day, or a warm evening, or at any time you might want to drink a good tasting Pilsner.
