I like international beers. Why is that you ask. Is it the unique flavours, the centuries of brewing tradition, the care and craftsmanship that goes into every beer? Nope. It is the extra 27ml I get in every can of beer versus a North American can of beer. Bonus beer!
But regardless of any bonus beer, it still has to taste good. Tatra tastes like hay. Seriously. Hay. Farmer’s field hay. Horse and cow feed hay. Hay fever hay. I always give a beer a chance. Sometimes a beer makes transition as you get closer to the bottom of the glass, your taste buds adapt, the beer breathes, you get drunk, or all of the above. Unfortunately my Tatra tasted like hay from the first sip to the last quaff. Was it me? I was feeling a little horse this morning. Nope, it’s the Tatra. I even checked the best before date on the can in case I had a witch’s brew. Nope. It’s the Tatra. This beer is not outstanding in its field, unfortunately it tastes like its field. I would strongly recommend this beer to any horses or cows. But if you have only two legs this might not be the beer for you.
