Editor’s Introduction: This review, by our esteemed colleague RA, who has sampled more craft beers than Dodd’s has pills, has been edited from a text by the reviewer. Some additional information has been added as the editor (ghost writer) was required to “read between the lines” so to speak.
Get ready ghost writer, I am just about to crack my third one in a row, that is three days in a row, not three Hespelers per day. Not a good start, it just exploded all over the floor, the beer that is. Maybe it’s something us old coots have in common? *
As for the beer, cloudy with floaty bits in the brew and the head. Slightly malty smell and taste with a distinctive IPA finish. Delicious. If you look at the label they talk about burying the biscuit, I’m assuming they are talking about a hockey puck, and not a funeral cake. This beer did score top shelf**, well done Hespeler. No wonder I don’t use auto-correct. R/A.
