Tortuga eh. In spite of myself or maybe to spite myself, I called in the COMDB Translation Department on this one. A turtle or tortoise was the terse response.* It seems they were annoyed that I bothered them with such a trivial translation, but I know for a fact they would have been put out if I hadn’t. In some situations, such as dealing with the COMDB translation department, or being a Leafs fan, there ain’t no winnin’ but for losin’.

DON”T FEED THE SNAPPERS
Tortuga the tortoise, or turtle, as the case may be,** the humble and humbling opponent of the hare, and the nightmare of skinny dippers everywhere. The Something in the Water is in fact a sea turtle, gliding aimlessly through the murky depths, chillin’, a mellow fellow, no shell shock here.
This Tortuga has a hazy orange pour, with a head that has a mind of its own. No shy guy head in the shell here, a full over the top thick and fluffy froth on this one. Fruit and hops in Bee Gee harmony on the nose. Smells like a hazy IPA. The first taste is a hazy IPA, a super tropical citrus juicer with some happy hops in there too. It quickly evolved into a pale ale with tropical juice with a malt backbone and a flat mild hoppy finish. Easy drinking, very tasty. As it further evolved the fruit toned down and it gets a bit airy for a nice light taste.
Another great SITW brew that had me drinking curiously, and deliciously.
