I need to have a word with the CB art director. The can has a picture of a giant astronaut riding a whale. For me this is Surreal,* not sublime. Sublime** would be an astronaut floating through space, tethered of course, with a sky full of stars. Terror would be that same astronaut untethered floating through that same space with a look of panic just barely discernable through the face shield. Bizarre would be a whale in an astronaut’s outfit sailing through space. Get the pictures?
I also need to have a word with the brew master. That word would be “thank you”***. Very enjoyable hazy IPA. Nice deep gold hazy pour. A head in the clouds. Nice fruit hop aroma, not sinus clearing but definitely there. First quaff revealed a bit of carbonation and a nice mix of fruit and hops but no real bitters to speak of. The fizz faded, the fruit came forward, and the finish was fine. A nice balanced easy drinking hazy IPA.
