This IPA from Railway city is full of flavour you would expect from one of my favourite breweries in the province. It doesn’t quite stack up to the Dead Elephant which is another IPA from Railway City – as it has a slightly fruitier taste that works on a hot summer day – but might not be the right choice for winter weather. Since it is summer, I was fine. It has a notable bitterness (48 IBU) and a lot of flavour – you will sit up and take notice of this one in your mouth.
This is a good choice when you want a beer that gets noticed. The flavour is full, the alcohol level is pretty high and the bitterness is on your tongue. I like the flavour – but I’m only drinking one at these levels.
