I don’t generally go about seeking dark beers, but I may have to change my purchase plans after this fantastic surprise from a new brewery in Prince Edward County. This beer pours very dark which had me a little nervous from the outset. But if you are used to drinking dark Ales, this beer has quite a different taste – a more flavourful lager than you are used to, but still a refreshing and very smooth taste. Some bitterness left in the mouth – but my mouth asked for more. A very distinctive bottle, unlike any I’ve seen before and fine tasting brew to go with it. Considering the brewery has only been open some 5 months, they have a promising future.
