Site visit report! And it’s a Kame & Kettle Canada Day weekend draft craft quaff. They tell us the name of this pilsner can be best defined by using it in a sentence. “While you are here, you mozzle have a beer.” * The correct response is “Don’t mind if I do.” So, I did.
We have Kamed and Kettled before and quite enjoyed a few of their interesting brews. Their Minivan was the real deal on four wheels. Their Ol’ 39 was something fine. And their Gedit d’faKenya was a touching tribute to a beautiful East African country. While I’m here, I guess I muzzle review this brew too.
A golden slightly hazy pour, bright white foam. A beauty pour by a pour pro. Malt bread nose, barley sandwich on the snout, a hearty aroma. First taste is surprisingly creamy, a middlin’ malt barley bread body with a very slight crisp finish. Very easy drinking and tasty, a cream ale style pils, creaminess not quite the level of, but reminiscent of a nitro. A nice mild dry crisp aftertaste goes well with the creamy mouthfeel.
Along with a tasty pils, I received top notch service and a nice light snack from a great menu, I’m sure I’ll be back, with beer this tasty I mozzle.
