There is a naughty otter at my cottage that shits on my dock. The missus thinks otters are cute, playful, endearing scamps, but to me it’s just one more crap on the dock rodent.
This brew hales from the celebrated border town of Gananoque Ontario, with more islands than there are craft beer options at the beer store. Back in the day when the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US dollar, and a trip across the bridge at Gananoque to Alexandria Bay meant happy hour and cheap brewskies. I think on some of those weekends we may have toasted every island.
Nice golden pour. An egotistical brew, bit of a swollen head, but it settled quickly. Nice aroma, malty and fresh. Good full malty flavour with a bit of hops on the finish. For some reason tonight this brew is encouraging me to take big swigs, I guess it is very drinkable*. Good solid full flavoured lager. Gan brewers advise us to “stay naughty”. The otter can stay naughty if he wants, just stop crapping on my dock.
Great beer.
